    Item 6: Entrant Restrictions

    In order to be able to enter the promotion, entrants must be resident in Australia or New Zealand and be aged 18 years or older or have the permission of their legal parent or guardian who is aged 18 years or older, at the time of entry. Employees of the Promoter, its related body corporates, suppliers, distributors and advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their spouses) and household members of each (whether related or not), are ineligible to enter.

    Item 7: Method of Entry

    Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Submission of an entry is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. To enter, during the Promotion Period entrants need to:

    1.     Spend a minimum of $150 in any single transaction during the month of August and opt in to our marketing communications

    2.     If a customer is making a minimum $150 purchase in store and is an existing customer of the Promoter and is already opted in to receive marketing materials from the Promoter, that customer will automatically be entered into the Promotion.

    3.     If a customer is making a minimum $150 purchase in store and is an existing customer of the Promoter and has not opted in to receive the marketing materials from the Promoter, then upon compliance with 1 above and opting in to receive marketing materials from the Promoter, that entrant will be entered into the Promotion.

    4.     If an entrant is making a minimum $150 purchase online via the Website, then upon compliance with 1 above and at the checkout page of the Website the entrant is required to: 

    (a)   enter their details including first and last name and email address.

    (b)   Opt in to receive marketing materials from the Promoter. 

    The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and address) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

    Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

    Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following:

    (a) only one entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; and 

    (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with these entry requirements.

    (c) an additional entry will be awarded to all entrants who provide their phone number when opting in.

     

    Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in the invalidation of all of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.
     

    Item 8: Winner Selection

    The first valid entry drawn at random from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period will win the Prize. The draw will take place at the Promoter's offices at 55 Mentmore Avenue, Rosebery NSW 2018 on September 4, 2025 at 11am.

     The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
     

    Item 9: Prize

    a)      TWO(2) x NRL & NRLW Telstra Premiership Grand Final 2025 Tickets, located on the halfway line (tickets include $100 Food & Beverage voucher to spend at any outlet operated by Accor Stadium throughout the day, access to an exclusive bar.

    b)     ONE(1) x $1,000 yd. voucher

    Total prize value (inc. GST):  $2,438.00 AUD

    OR

    Total prize value (inc. GST):  $2,569.53 NZD

    (The prize does not include flights, accommodation, travel or travel expenses)

     

    Item 10:  Prize Winner Publication, Notification and Delivery

    The winner will be notified by phone and/or email on the same day of the draw. Notification will be provided to the winner using the details provided to the Promoter during the entry process.

    Unless the winner requests that their details not be published, the first initial, surname and postcode (suburb) of the winner will be published on the Website within 14 days of winning. (if accepted)

    Subject to the unclaimed prize draw, if for any reason whatsoever the winner does not claim the Prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter (6th September 2025, 2 days after initial notification), then the Prize will be forfeited by the winner.

    It is a condition of accepting any prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize supplier’s requirements. Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.

     

    Item 11: Unclaimed Prize Draw

    In the event the winner does not respond to the Promoter's phone call or email within 2 days, the Prize will be deemed unclaimed and subject to any directions from a regulatory authority, the Promoter will conduct a further random draw from all remaining valid entries to determine the unclaimed prize winner. The draw will take place at the Promoter's offices at Level 2, 55 Mentmore Avenue Rosebery on 6 September 2025 at 11am AEDT. The unclaimed prize winner will be notified by phone and email on the same day as the unclaimed prize draw. Notification will be provided to the unclaimed prize winner using the contact details provided to the Promoter during the entry process.

    Unless the unclaimed prize winner requests that their details not be published, details of the first initial, surname and postcode (suburb) of the unclaimed prize winner will be published on the Website within 14 days of winning.

    The Promoter takes no responsibility where it is unable to contact prize winners who have not provided correct or complete contact details. If an entrant’s contact details change during the promotional period, it is the entrant's responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to modify any entry information should be directed to Promoter.
     

    Item 12: Use of Personal Information

    In order to conduct this Promotion, the Promoter needs to collect personal information about each entrant and may for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and regulatory authorities. Participation in the Promotion is conditional on providing this information, the entrants first name, email address, mobile, email opt-in and mobile opt-in. Entrant’s personal information will be used in relation to the conduct of the Promotion and delivery of the Prize to the winner (or unclaimed prize winner as the case may be). Entrants consent to their personal information being added to the Promoter’s marketing database and the Promoter may, until such time as you request your personal information be removed from our database, use the personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant and for such other purposes as set out in the Promoter's Privacy Policy at (https://www.yd.com.au/au/privacy-policy). Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct their personal information to the Promoter via customer service or by setting up account. All personal information of entrants will be stored at the offices of the Promoter. Upon the entrant’s request, all personal information provided will be removed from the active database. Personal Information will be removed as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

     

    Item 13: Other Conditions

     If for any reason whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promotion is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, unless to do so would be prohibited by law, to (a) disqualify any entrant; and/or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to cancel, suspend, modify, terminate or cancel the Promotion.

    Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify any statutory consumer guarantees or any implied condition or warranty the exclusion of which from these terms and conditions would contravene any statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Subject to the limitations in the preceding sentence, the Promoter excludes from these terms and conditions all conditions, warranties and terms implied by statute, general law or custom. Except for liability in relation to a Non Excludable Guarantee, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise, for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, without limitation, the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax implications; (e) any variation in reward value to that stated in these terms and conditions; (f) any tax liability incurred by a successful entrant and/or (g) the Prize or use of the Prize; (h) Gift Cards/Vouchers are valid for 36 months from September 4th and cannot be redeemed for cash. We also cannot exchange or refund a gift card or replace lost or stolen cards (All gift cards are valid in the currency they are awarded in and are not interchangeable between our Australian and New Zealand stores or website)
