How To Plan A Last-Minute New Year’s Eve Party
There’s so much pressure for New Year’s Eve to be the best night of your life that most of the time it ends up being a HUGE let down… or is that just us?
With COVID-19 cancelling all of our overseas plans what better year to stay local and organise a night that will go off and be one to remember (for the right reasons).
FIND A LOCATION
This is by far the most important step as you’ll want somewhere to crash if you’re planning on having a big one. Chase up your mates to see if someone can offer up their place or get everyone to put in for an Air BnB. Paying a bit extra to have a few extra mattresses will be a lifesaver.
CHOOSE A THEME
Your night will be 1000% better if you come up with a killer theme. Whether you make it basic or over the top when everyone gets into it, it makes for good vibes and even better Instagram photos.
SHOP FOR FOOD & DRINK EARLY
Now that the theme is set, it will make it easy to choose what food and drink you get for the night. Make sure you get something that’s easy for people to just grab and go throughout the night. Hot dogs, sliders and tacos are some of our faves that people can build themselves.
MAKE SURE THE TUNES ARE READY
Don’t be that person that refuses to pay for Spotify, because trust us, you won’t want ads interrupting your night. Create a playlist and leave your phone or laptop unlocked so people can add to it throughout the night (just delete those naughty pics beforehand).
