How To Nail That First Job Interview
You’ve spent the last 4 years or so slugging your way through uni, pulling all-nighters and consuming more red bull then imaginably possible.
And while you want to make your parents proud, we all know you’ve spent the last 4 years getting by on the premise that P’s get degrees.
So here’s a piece of advice from us to you to make sure you nail that first job interview because that HECS debt isn’t going to pay itself.
LOOK THE PART
Before you’ve even opened your mouth, the employer is going to make their first impression of you judging by what you wear. Put the effort in to visit the team at yd. and they’ll hook you up with interview ready threads.
KNOW YOUR SH*T
This one is plain and simple. Do some research of the company before you rock up. The more knowledge you have the more confident you’ll feel and confidence is key.
BE MEMORABLE
We’re not saying you need to rock up with a fire breathing act prepared but if you can do something that sets you apart from the other candidates, then the balls in your court. Ask questions, show your personality and know how to sell your strengths.
