The Do’s and Don’ts of Dressing To Impress

You're heading out for a night with the boys and plan to only use your best pick up lines for the occasion. In other words, you mean business tonight.

So how do you stand out from the crowd without looking like a wanker?

Check out our top 5 Do’s and Don’ts when dressing to impress.

    DO’S

    • Do match your belt to your shoes - It’s the smallest details that get noticed.
    • Do wear a blazer - You’ll be able to give it to her when she’s cold while looking sharp AF.
    • Do add a fun print to your outfit (we suggest socks or shirt) - Just be careful not to overdo it and rock up wearing your flamingo shirt, with your flamingo shorts and socks. Unless it’s a flamingo party then we’re all for it.
    • Do wear fitted pants - Whether their Skinny, Slim or Slim-Tapered it can make all the difference to your look.
    • Do add a watch to finish your look - You’ll look instantly more attractive in a watch whether its $10 or $10,000.

    DON’TS

    • Don’t pull a shirt out of the laundry basket - If mum hasn't done your laundry then buy a new yd. shirt. No one wants last night's sweaty get up in their face.
    • Don’t wear thongs, opt for loafers instead - Leave your thongs at the beach and keep your creepers inside a pair of yd. loafers
    • Don’t wear a fedora - It’s best to save this for the races, otherwise, you’ll be standing out for all the wrong reasons.
    • Don’t wear too much cologne - Smelling like Chemist Warehouse should be left to the pharmacists. 1-3 sprays are all you need.
    • Don’t wear sports socks - These should be left at the gym, full stop.
